ASSEMBLY DISTRICT 47, CA — Today, Christy Holstege, the Democratic Party’s nominee for California’s 47th Assembly District, released her first television ad of the 2024 cycle, titled “Before.” The ad will run on local area cable tv and highlights Christy’s commitment to tackling the toughest challenges facing our state – affordability, and homelessness. As Mayor of Palm Springs, Christy led the City’s homelessness and housing crisis response by securing millions of dollars in state funding to build the first and only homeless navigation center in the region and build the first affordable housing developments in the city in over a decade.

Christy is backed by a broad coalition of local and statewide leaders including Governor Gavin Newsom, Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas, and Congressman Raul Ruiz, and over 100 local and elected leaders, labor unions, and advocacy organizations. A full endorsement list is available here.
