ASSEMBLY DISTRICT 47, CA — Christy Holstege’s campaign for Assembly District 47 is excited to announce the endorsement of the Professional Engineers in California Government (PECG).

Christy Holstege has proven herself a steadfast advocate for state-employed engineers and related professionals, vigorously promoting initiatives that bolster California's infrastructure, environmental standards, and technological innovations and working diligently to ensure that engineers have a voice in government.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Professional Engineers in California Government,” said Christy Holstege. “Their endorsement reinforces our shared commitment to enhancing the working conditions and professional standards of our state's most crucial sectors. In Sacramento, I will be a champion for policies that not only listen to our engineers but also utilize their expertise to drive California’s growth and sustainability.”

PECG, which was founded in 1962, represents over 15,000 state-employed professionals. These include engineers, scientists, and other related experts involved in critical sectors such as energy, healthcare, and environmental protection. Their endorsement underscores Christy’s alignment with the values and aspirations of California’s professional workforce.

Christy’s campaign continues to out-raise and out-work her Republican opponent, garnering high-profile endorsements and significant local grassroots support. The closely watched seat remains a top pickup priority for California Assembly Democrats. Incumbent Republican Assemblymember Greg Wallis currently holds one of the most endangered seats in Sacramento. The district boasts a solid 6.4% Democratic voter registration advantage, a figure that's projected to swell to an imposing 10-12% by Election Day.
