Eggman joins the LGBTQ Caucus in throwing support behind Holstege’s campaign
ASSEMBLY DISTRICT 47, CA — Today, California State Senator and LGBTQ Caucus Chair, Susan Talamantes Eggman endorsed Christy Holstege for State Assembly. Senator Eggman is joined by the entire LGBTQ caucus which includes Senate President pro Tempore Emeritus Toni Atkins, Senators Scott Weiner and Steve Padilla; Assemblymembers Chris Ward, Rick Chavez Zbur, Sabrina Cervantes, Evan Low, Alex Lee and Dr. Corey Jackson.

During her time on City Council, she secured millions in funding for local LGBTQ+ organizations such as the Desert AIDS Project, the LGBTQ Center of the Desert, and the L-Fund, which provide essential services ranging from healthcare to housing assistance. Holstege has been a staunch advocate for mental health services, homelessness prevention, and ensuring equitable access to healthcare for all. Her candidacy for State Assembly aims to continue this vital work on a larger scale, promoting policies that support marginalized communities and advance social justice throughout California.
